The White County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a report of theft from an oil lease north of Enfield.
On Monday, Dennis McGee of Pratt Well Service contacted the Sheriff’s Department to report the crime which occurred over the weekend. The preliminary investigation at the location found that someone had cut a lock off of the doghouse, taking gloves, tools, and propane tanks. McGee told responding deputies that he would compile a complete list of what was missing.
