In Edwards County court on Friday, 42 year old Kenneth Bryant of Albion was sentenced to four years in prison after violating probation from a 2014 case. Bryant was originally sentenced to probation on one count of Aggravated DUI that resulted in the injury of a passenger, but will now serve his sentence in Department of Corrections custody.
In addition, Bryant will serve one year of supervised release following incarceration and was ordered to pay fines, fees, and court costs.
Bryant was convicted in 2009 on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm after being accused of shooting Gorgeous the Donkey, owned by Jim and Cathy Markman in Albion.
