It was a busy weekend for Carmi-White County athletics.
The Carmi-White County Boys Basketball team wrapped up play in the 27th Annual DuQuoin Tip Off Class, falling to Herrin on Friday 56-51 and defeating Cairo on Saturday 71-63.
Gavin Holloman and Mitchel Edwards were named to the All-Tournament Team.
The Bulldogs are now 3-2 on the season, they will have two home games this week, hosting NCOE tomorrow and Flora on Friday.
The Carmi-White County Girls Basketball team traveled to Trenton-Wesclin on Saturday, the Lady Bulldogs lost a nail biter, 43-38. Carmi is now 5-3 on the year, they will travel to Fairfield tonight.
The Carmi-White County Wrestling team took part in the Lawrenceville Tournament on Saturday.
Gage Anderson finished in 6th Place in the 106 weight class.
Malachi Oberlender finished in 4th Place in the 113 weight class.
Connor Benham finished in 4th Place in the 126 weight class.
Nolan Garner finished in 5th Place in the 132 weight class.
Jazz Duckworth finished in 4th Place in the 150 weight class.
Cole Evans finished in 6th Place in the 157 weight class.
Branson Burnett finished in 4th Place in the 165 weight class.
The Bulldog Wrestlers will be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Fairfield.
