WROY/WRUL Local Sports Recap

The Carmi-White County Bulldog Football team held their end-of-season banquet last night at the White County Floral Hall. 

Noah Pollard was named Offensive MVP.
Kade Stockton and Stone McGhee were named Co-Defensive MVPs.
Eli Bryant was the recipient of the Egbert Award.
Kale Wiggins was the recipient of the Drew Haley Award. 

The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Basketball team will begin their season a week from tomorrow as they host Lawrenceville at the friendly confines of McDougal-Evers Gymnasium. The Lady Bulldogs were scheduled to travel to Mt. Carmel on Tuesday, but that game has been moved to February 5th. 

Congratulations to CWCHS junior, Caroline Simmons on being named to the Illinois Volleyball Coaches Association 2A First-Team All-State Team. Simmons is the first Lady Bulldog Volleyball player in CWCHS history to be named First Team All-State.
