A Carmi man and woman are behind bars following a domestic dispute Carmi Police responded to Monday evening. It was just after 5:30 when a 911 call came in. Cops arrived at the 8th Street residence after a hang up and found out that it had been a dispute. Upon further investigation, police arrested 45-year-old Robert Grogan and 32-year-old Krystal Porter who reside at the home. Grogan faces a charge of Aggravated Domestic Battery and Porter is behind bars on a charge for Domestic Battery. Both were taken to the White County Jail where they remained until they could be seen by a judge Tuesday morning.
