The Carmi-White County Boys Golf team traveled to Effingham on Wednesday for the IHSA Regionals.
The host Bulldogs of Effingham-St. Anthony dominated, finishing with a team score of 291 to take the regional championship.
Teutopolis finished in 2nd Place with a team score of 312 to punch their ticket to the sectional.
Finishing in 3rd Place and moving on to the West Frankfort Sectional was the Carmi-White County Bulldogs, ending with a team score of 337.
Maxon O’Daniel finished 9th overall after shooting an 81.
Aidan Willis shot an 83.
Gabe Winkleman shot an 84.
Cayden Holloman shot an 89.
Abe Girten shot a 93.
Jax Jordan shot a 99.
The Bulldogs qualify for sectionals for the first time since the 2020-2021 season. It is the first time since 2011 that both the boys and girls CWC golf teams qualify for sectionals.
The Boys will play at West Frankfort, and the girls will play at Effingham, both on Monday.
