Update: Tonight’s CWC vs Fairfield football game has been moved to Monday, September 30th. Kickoff is at 6 PM.
The Carmi-White County Boys Golf team traveled to West Frankfort yesterday for the Black Diamond Conference tournament, and the Bulldogs finished in 3rd Place with a team score of 324.
Maxon O’Daniel was named All-Conference after he finished 3rd overall, shooting a 74.
Gabe Winkleman shot an 82.
Aidan Willis shot an 83.
Cayden Holloman shot an 85.
Abe Girten shot an 89.
Jax Jordan shot a 92.
Both CWC Golf Teams will travel to Mt. Carmel on Monday before beginning regionals later next week.
The Carmi-White County Freshman Football team defeated Fairfield last night 6-0.
The game was called at halftime due to lightning. The Freshman Bulldogs are 1-0 on the year, they will play at Harrisburg on October 17th.
Tonight the Carmi-White County Bulldogs will host the Fairfield Mules for Rivalry Week in the Black Diamond Conference. The Bulldogs are coming off a 32-0 loss at Sesser-Valier last week, meanwhile the Mules lost at home against Johnston City, 44-26. Carmi is 3-1, Fairfield is 2-2 on the year.
The forecast tonight is calling for lots of rain, fans who don’t want to battle the weather can watch and listen to the game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
