Back on Saturday, the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team went undefeated and brought home 1st Place at the Benton Invitational Tournament, for the 2nd consecutive year. 

The Lady Dogs defeated Woodlawn, Harrisburg, Salem, Benton, and Massac County and they did so without losing a single set. 

Lauren Burzynski, Riley Roark, Caroline Simmons, and Ashlyn Rager were all named to the All-Tournament team. 

The Lady Bulldogs are now 17-1 on the season. They will have a few days of rest, they’ll be back in action on Thursday when they travel to Hamilton County. 

The CWC Boys Golf team took part in the Benton Invite on Saturday, the Bulldogs finished in 6th place with a team score of 338. 

Maxon O’Daniel finished 17th overall after shooting an 80.
Cayden Holloman finished 19th overall after shooting an 81.
Aidan Willis finished 22nd after shooting an 85.
Jax Jordan shot a 92.
Gabe Winkleman shot a 96.

The Bulldogs will host Zeigler-Royalton today as will the CWC Girls Golf team. 

The CWC Girls Tennis team traveled to Herrin on Saturday to participate in the Herrin Invitational.
Callie Acord & Aly Albright placed 3rd in #2 doubles.
Nevaeh Hampton & Olivia Cox placed 4th in #1 doubles.
Elie Kiser placed 3rd in the consolation bracket in #1 singles.
Mylie Cronin placed 4th in #2 singles.

The Lady Bulldogs will host Marion on Wednesday.

The CWC Jr. Pro football teams traveled to Johnston City on Saturday.
The 5th/6th Grade Bulldogs fell 16-0.
The 7th/8th Grade Bulldogs won 48-0.
Both teams will host Eldorado for their final home games of the season this Saturday.
