Pets at Risk Receives Funds from Community Minded Partners

While it’s never a particularly good time to be a dog in the pound, all animals in White County are guaranteed of one thing…constant support thanks to the efforts of non-profit Pets at Risk.  And it was a good week for the organization as not one, but two community partners showed their backing and encouragement for the organization’s mission.  Citizens National Bank of Albion’s Crossville team showed out in full support Friday morning with a check presentation that will go a long way in helping animals.  Earlier this week, Pets at Risk also found out it was receiving a substantial donation from Meadow Springs Renewable Energy.  Lindsey Workman, Community Affairs Manager with Meadow Springs says, “As a pet owner, I am ecstatic about your organization and look forward to future collaboration.  We are honored and delighted to support your work in protecting our animal friends and hope this grant will help provide vital preventative care that will keep them happy and healthy.”  In total, Pets at Risk received $3,500 to help make a difference for animals in White County.
