An Enfield woman is due in court Monday following her arrest Friday evening. It was just after 9:30 when Carmi Police pulled over 39-year-old Alicia Pearce at the corner of Oak and 5th Street. She’s being charged with a count of Driving under the Influence of Alcohol and also Illegal Transportation of Alcohol. She was held pending a hearing before a judge.
Carmi Police also arrested 29-year-old Tamberlynn Capps of Crossville. She was arrested on Highway 1 in Carmi at about a quarter till 2 Sunday afternoon. Police say Capps unlawfully entered the vehicle of Jason Rockett and stole property. Capps was also held in the White County Jail while awaiting a hearing in White County court.
