Jurors heard closing arguments Friday morning in the trial of Emmit Connely. The Crossville man was arrested in May on warrants related to charges of Criminal Sexual Assault and Aggravated Sexual Battery. After a final pre-trial on Monday, the jury trial got underway Tuesday morning with Judge T. Scott Webb presiding.
