The Lions Club of Carmi will hold their annual Vendor Fair on June 1 from 8am-1pm. The Club usually holds the Fair on the first Saturday of June each year, and are excited to have several vendors signed up. If you are interested in being a vendor, please contact Joy Boring at 618-383-2859.
The Club is also supporting the community-organized Citywide Yard Sale that day by providing free printed maps and $1 bottled water at the Lions Den from 7am until the end of the Fair.
There was some confusion about who normally organizes the Citywide Yard Sale, so community member Kristin Prince stepped up to get folks involved. “I’ve seen people asking so I made an event!” Kristin said in a Facebook post.
Seeing that post, Lion Hailey Winkleman got in touch to help collect information for the maps. “The Lions have previously helped whoever by distributing the maps, so I thought it was a perfect fit,” said Hailey.
You can apply to be on the map here. You must apply by May 31 to guarantee your spot. Only sales on Saturday, June 1 will be put on the map.
