False Name and Drugs Lead to Arrest of Indiana Woman

19-year-old Kirstin Thompson was arrested by Carmi Police and given a handful of charges.

Thompson was arrested outside of McDonald’s after she was observed with illegal drug items in her possession. At first Thompson told police her name was Allison Riley, along with a false date of birth and address. She was later fingerprinted and the correct ID was determined and showed police that she had Felony warrants out of Indiana for Possession of Methamphetamine and Providing False Identification.

Thompson was additionally charged with Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Use of Property, Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin), Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Obstructing Justice.

The Posey County warrant consists of a $3,000 bond.
