Six Bulldogs traveled to Charleston yesterday for the IHSA Boys State Track Meet preliminaries.
Kale Wiggins, Beck Huff, Noah Pollard, and Nelson Rider competed in the 4×1 & 4×2 Relays, but were not able to finish well enough to advance to Saturday’s State Finals.
Mitchel Edwards however did qualify for the State Finals in High Jump.
Lane Connaway will also head to the State Finals for the 3200 Meter Race, the IHSA didn’t require preliminaries for the 3200.

The Carmi-White County Bulldog baseball team held their end-of-season banquet last night at the Carmi Elks Lodge.
Caleb Seibers was named Offensive MVP.
Gavin Holloman was named Defensive MVP.
Trayton Vickers was the recipient of the Bulldog Award.
Seibers and Holloman, along with Travor Mason and Merick Millhorn were recognized as members of the Black Diamond Conference All-Conference Team for 2024.
