White County Ambulance personnel had a terribly busy Friday night into Saturday that all began with the overturned concrete truck in Carmi in the afternoon. Just before 6pm, emergency vehicles were called to a 2 vehicle accident on I-64 when a box truck side swiped a semi. The collision ripped off the passenger side of the box truck off. Luckily, no injuries were reported.
Then, around 10pm, officials were dispatched to Epworth Road for a single vehicle accident. According to authorities, a car went through the intersection of Highway 141 and Epworth and ended up at the bottom of the hill.
Authorities also had to respond to a fully involved structure fire in Crossville.
