Carmi City Council breezed through their first gathering of May taking only 6 minutes to get through their agenda. City leaders approved a pay request from Brown and Roberts for the County Road 1000 East water main work in the amount of $18,101.22 and also 3 resolutions. Two of those resolutions were for agreements with Brown and Roberts, one being for the waste water treatment plant Sludge Drying Rehab and the other for the Rosebud Street water main. The final resolution is a redevelopment project utilizing tax increment financing and is for roofing at Kinmac Inc, better known locally as Little Giant. All resolutions passed unanimously.
City leaders will gather for their second meeting of the month on May 21st.
