Relay Team Breaks Record; Bulldogs Finish 2nd at CWC Invite

The Carmi-White County boys track team hosted the CWC Invite Wednesday at Harrington-Jeffries Sports Complex, the Bulldogs finished in 2nd Place behind Fairfield with a team score of 136.

Beck Huff finished in 2nd Place in the 100 Meter Race.

Huff then finished in 1st Place in the 200 Meter Race with a time of 23.1.

Jayde Albright finished in 1st Place in the 400 Meter Race.

Andrew Benham finished in 2nd Place in the 800 Meter Race.

Benham finished 2nd and Lane Connaway finished 3rd in the 1600 Meter Race.

Connaway finished 3rd in the 3200 Meter Race.

Kale Wiggins finished 1st in the 110 Meter Hurdles, and 2nd in the 300 Meter Hurdles.

The 4×1 Relay Team of Wiggins, Huff, Noah Pollard, and Nelson Rider finished in 1st Place with a time of 44.4 seconds. That breaks the previous CWCHS record of 44.5 seconds that was set in 2006.

The 4×2 Relay Team of Pollard, Huff, Brody Brown, and Kade Stockton finished in 2nd Place.

The 4×4 Relay Team of Trey Dixon, Macen Haywood, Mitchel Edwards, and Jayde Albright finished in 3rd Place.

The 4×8 Relay Team of Dixon, Connaway, Luke Bolerjack, and Andrew Benham finished in 2nd Place.

Gavin Peyton placed 1st in Shot Put, Michael Miller placed 4th.

Peyton placed 4th in Discus, Nelson Rider placed 2nd.

The Bulldog tracksters will travel to Mt. Carmel on Monday.
