The Carmi-White County baseball and softball teams traveled to Edwards County yesterday.
The Lady Bulldogs came away with a 5-2 victory, while the Bulldogs suffered just their 2nd loss of the season, 7-1.
Audrey Upton was electric once again for the Lady Bulldogs both on the mound and at the plate. Upton pitched all 7 innings, allowing just 2 runs on 2 hits with 11 strikeouts. Upton then went 2-for-4 at the plate with her 2nd home run of the season and 3 RBI.
Addi Elliott went 1-for-4 with 2 runs scored.
Kadie Simmons went 1-for-3 with a run scored.
Mia Evans went 1-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored.
Eva Attebury went 1-for-2 with an RBI.
The Lady Bulldogs improve to 11-4 on the season, they will host Flora today at Archie Brown Field.
The Bulldogs will also be in action today, they look to bounce back on the road at Harrisburg.

The Carmi-White County boys tennis fell to Salem yesterday at home by a final score of 5-4.
The Bulldogs will travel to Carbondale this afternoon.
The Carmi-White County girls track team will host the CWC Invite today at Harrington-Jeffries Sports Complex.
