A Farmer City, Illinois man is in custody at the White County Jail following his arrest early Saturday morning in Carmi. 35-year-old Wesley Harvey of the De Witt County community was picked up just before 3:30am by Carmi Police at Hucks on Oak Street. Authorities say he was wanted on a McLean County warrant for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance. He remains behind bars due to conditions of the warrant. Farmer City is about 3 hours north of Carmi, and about 30 minutes from Bloomington in McLean County where the warrant originated.
