The Carmi-White County Bulldog baseball team defeated Hardin County yesterday afternoon by a final score of 16-0 in 4 innings.
Landon Driscoll got the win on the mound, pitching all 4 innings allowing 0 runs on 0 hits with just 1 walk and 4 strikeouts.
At the plate, Driscoll along with Gavin Holloman, Caleb Seibers, Merick Millhorn, Trayton Vickers, Maxon O’Daniel and Cade Allen picked up base hits in the win.
The Bulldogs improve their record to 6-0 on the season. They will travel to Benton on Friday to face the Rangers.
The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog softball team fell to Carterville yesterday by a final score of 10-2.
Audrey Upton went 2-for-4 with a solo home run.
Mara Serafini, Grace Sneed and Mia Evans also picked up hits in the loss.
The Lady Bulldogs fall to 2-2 on the season, they will also travel to Benton on Friday before taking part in the Fairfield tournament on Saturday.
