The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog softball team defeated Mt. Carmel on the road last night by a final score of 7-2. 

Carmi scored 2 runs in 2nd, 3rd, and 4th innings, and another gem on the mound from Audrey Upton helped hold the lead. 

Upton went all 7 innings, allowing just 2 runs on 6 hits with 8 strikeouts. 

At the plate, Addi Elliott went 2-for-4 with 2 RBI.
Alayna Johnson went 3-for-4 with 2 HR and 4 RBI.
Kadie Simmons and Grace Sneed both picked up base hits in the win. 

The Lady Bulldogs improve to 2-0 on the season, they will host Lawrenceville on Monday.

The Carmi-White County Bulldog baseball team will host Carterville today at Eckerle Park weather permitting. 

The Bulldogs are 1-0 on the year after they picked up a 13-3 win over West Frankfort on Monday.
