Criminal Damage to Solar Farm

An attempted theft and criminal damage occurred at a solar farm in Carmi on February 21st. Caleb Johnson, who works for the PER MAR Security Service, called a report to the White County Sheriff’s Office and stated that he noticed a large black power cable lying in the roadway. The cable was about 200 feet long and had been cut on both ends. Johnson also indicated that he had been in that area an hour earlier and that the cable was not in the roadway.
