The Carmi-White County wrestling team defeated Centralia last night at home by a final score of 45-33 on Senior Night.
Travor Mason started off the night with a pin in just 32 seconds in the 113 weight class.
Conner Benham picked up a forfeit in the 120 weight class.
Kale Wiggins won a thrilling overtime match in the 138 weight class, 11-9.
Jazz Duckworth pinned his opponent in the 144 weight class in 2:20.
Caleb Seibers pinned his opponent in the 175 weight class in 1:51.
Nelson Rider pinned his opponent in the 190 weight class in 2:31.
Konner Buchanan pinned his opponent in the 215 weight class in 3:04.
Gavin Peyton capped off the Bulldog victory by pinning his opponent in 1:04.
The Bulldogs improve to 15-5 on the season, they will travel to Fairfield tonight.
The Carmi-White County girls basketball team took home 5th Place at the Lady Eagle Winter Classic in Eldorado, defeating Eldorado last night by a final score of 48-32.
The win improves Carmi to 20-4 on the year, it is their first 20-win campaign since the 2008-2009 season.
The Lady Bulldogs will be back in action on Monday when they travel to Fairfield.
The CWC Boys basketball team will have tonight off from the Carmi-White County Invitational tournament.
Tonight, it will be Fairfield vs Mt. Vernon at 5:30 PM and Evansville Day School vs Harrisburg at 7 PM.
Tomorrow night, Mt. Vernon and Evansville Day will square off at 5:30 PM followed by Carmi vs Fairfield at 7 PM.
Then on Saturday, it will be Fairfield vs Harrisburg at 4:30 PM and Mt. Vernon vs Carmi at 6 PM.
