18-year-old Emma Wiggins-Childers was arrested on January 14 for domestic battery. Police were called to Wiggins-Childers’ Oak Street home at a quarter after 9pm Sunday night. She allegedly committed the crime against a 19 year old white male. Carmi Police booked and transported her to the White County Jail where she remains held as of Tuesday morning.
