The Cemetery Board of Phillips Township will accept sealed bids beginning Tuesday, January 02, 2024, and ending Friday, February 02, 2024, for a 3-year contract for Mowing and general clean-up of the 20 acres oftownship-controlled cemeteries which are as follows:
Phillipstown Cemetery (4 Acres)
Old Phillipstown Cemetery (1.5 Acres)
Little Wabash Cemetery (4 Acres)
Stokes Chapel Cemetery (5.5 Acres)
Riverside Cemetery (1.5 Acres)
Brown Cemetery (1 Acre)
Calvin Cemetery (1 Acre)
Bethel Cemetery (1.5 Acres)
Mowing and general cleanup shall occur every 7-10 days during the regular mowing season and shall consist of the following. Mowing Cemetery properties, perimeters, and entry roads. Trimming around and removing, grass and debris from all headstones, monuments, grave markers, signage, and flagpoles. Also, all trash receptacles shall be emptied and fallen limbs shall be removed at a minimum of twice per month.
Bids are to be priced per occurrence of work to be completed and shall be submitted to the Phillips Township Cemetery Board Tuesday, January 02, 2024, through Friday, February 02, 2024, in person at: The Phillips Township Hall, 100 Graves Street, Crossville, Illinois 62827 or by Mail at: Phillips Township Cemetery Board, P.O. Box 336, Crossville, Illinois 62827.
Upon Hiring Proof of Liability Insurance will be required.
