Aud Selected as Next Associate Judge

Judge Denton Aud.  Originally elected as White County States Attorney in 2012, Carmi’s Denton Aud has been named the next Associate Judge for the Second Judicial Circuit.  The position was vacant as a result of the recent announcement by Associate Judge Mark Shaner to retire effective December 15^th.  With Aud’s appointment now certified, he’ll not be seekin re-election as the county’s lead prosecutor.

Aud says, “Being able to say that I am the White County States Attorney for the past eleven years has been one of the highest honors God has allowed me.  I cannot adequately thank the law enforcement agencies and their heads, the elected county officials and board members, the county employees, the staff within my office, and the people of White County for the tremendous support that I have received throughout my tenure as White County States Attorney.”
