Resignations and New Hires Approved by CWC School Board

A number of resignations and new hires were approved following the closed session of the Carmi White County School Board Monday night.

Resignations approved included; Chris Courty as high school girls’ tennis coach, effective October 30.

Logan Weller as junior senior high school custodian, effective Nov. 11.

Kevin Wolff as high school assistant baseball coach, effective immediately.

Brooke Hammond as breakfast student supervisor at Lincoln attendance Center, effective Nov. 16., and Christy Cribbs as building secretary at Washington Attendance Center, effective immediately.

New Hires include Madison Strong as part time special education individual aide at Lincoln Attendance Center for two and half hours a day, for the remainder of the school year.

Jessica Grogan, morning student supervisor at Lincoln. She fills the vacancy created by the resignation of Taylor Bishop.

Darrel Conover, fifth grade girls’ basketball coach to fill the vacancy created by Josh Girten’s resignation.

Paige Winter was hired as junior high school head volleyball coach for the remainder of the school year, filling the vacancy created by the resignation of Cammie Pollard. That’s pending a background screen.

And Abby Vaughn was hired at junior high school assistant volleyball coach to the fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Emily Driscoll. Vaughn’s hiring is also pending a background screening.
