Grayville Council Meeting Tonight

The City of Grayville, which holds council meetings on the second and fourth Mondays of each month, will hold their first meeting of November this evening at 119 South Middle Street.

Before the regularly scheduled 7 PM meeting, there will be a Public Hearing at 6:45 concerning a Rural Development Police Vehicle Grant.

There will be an Executive Session discussing employees of the Utilities Department, the purchase or lease of property for use by the city, and the sale of property owned by the city of Grayville.

Just one item in old business: approval of a TIF #2 agreement with Grayville Liquor Lake.

New business includes an easement for the vacated Pulaski Street concerning the Water Line Extension Project, a request for a TIF #1 grant for Southern Gray LLC, a change in ownership of Janel’s Parlor doing business as AJ’s Parlor and their liquor license renewal as well as a request for TIF #2 assistance, a request to solicit donations from the Ministerial Association on December 2nd, and the New Resident Attraction Program.

There will also be approval of the Consent Agenda, plus reports from the various departments and the mayor.
