Tuesday will see Village of Norris City leaders gathering for their October gathering, a week and a day later than normal. Following standard operating procedures of approving September Minutes, Treasurer’s Report, and Bills, board members will turn their attention to visitors. John Schofield is scheduled to discuss property and John Brown is expected to give an engineering update. The board will hear a final tax computation for the county and get an update on Illinois Funds from Malinda Nelson. Boyd Street lots are up for discussion as will be liquor licenses for both Doug’s Food Mart and the Norris City American Legion. Mayor Skip Land is also expected to make committee appointments.
