Illinois State Police personnel are on scene of a 6 vehicle crash on State Route 141 near the Shawneetown/New Haven Road intersection. Authorities say the vehicles include a truck tractor semi trailer and 5 other passenger vehicles. Smoke from a field fire reduced visibility which law enforcement say caused the six vehicle pileup. Two occupants have been flown from the scene with serious injuries. Fire Departments from New Haven, Equality, Norris City, Ridgway, Shawneetown, and Omaha are working the blaze.
