It happens every year and this year is no exception.
The City of Carmi will continue its fire hydrant flushing this week.
Flushing will occur nightly, from 12am-5am. The process will last through October 31, 2023.
During those times, customers may experience low water pressure or discolored water.
This City of Carmi apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause, but explained the flushing is done as a precautionary measure.
