The Carmi-White County boys and girls golf teams wrapped up their regular seasons yesterday with a trip to Mt. Carmel. The girls fell 144-203, the boys fell 155-170.
For the girls,
Ava Shiever shot a 45.
Courtney Snow shot a 49.
Sadie Balding shot a 54.
Maeve Atteberry shot a 55.
Kinley Carter shot a 58.
For the boys,
Maxon O’Daniel shot a 41.
Connor Newell, Cayden Holloman and Gabe Winkleman all shot a 43.
Aidan Willis and Jax Jordan shot a 49.
The boys golf team will begin regionals in McLeansboro on Wednesday, the girls will begin on Thursday in West Frankfort.
Tonight the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will host the Fairfield Lady Mules in a big Black Diamond Conference matchup between two of the top teams in all of Illinois 2A. Fairfield is ranked #7 and CWC is ranked #12. Fairfield is 19-2 on the year, CWC is 16-1. Fans who can’t attend tonight’s match can watch all the action on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
