Crafts at New Harmony State Park
Saturday, Sept. 30 will be a big day at the New Harmonie State Park, as a giant craft fair is set to open at 9 that morning.
Organizers say over 100 craft vendors will be selling their wares along with concession and food trucks.
D.J. Joe will be providing music throughout the day, which includes pioneer activities, a bouncy house, face painting, free kids crafts and a cruise-in.
All of the activities will occur around the pool parking lot and the Big Oak Shelter until about 4 that afternoon. There will be a free shuttle from the campground to the vending area.
Organizers also encouraged those planning to attend the “fair” to spend the weekend at the campground between New Harmony and Mt. Vernon, Ind. Cabin and campsite reservations may be made by calling 1-866-GCAMPIN….1-866-422-6746.
