The Carmi-White County boys and girls golf teams traveled to Eldorado yesterday to take on Eldorado and Zeigler-Royalton.
The girls finished in 2nd place, falling 186-206-249
The boys finished in 1st place, winning 174-188-195
Aidan Willis was a medalist for the Bulldogs.
The Boys Golf Team will host Mt. Carmel this afternoon at the Carmi Country Club.
The CWC junior high baseball and softball teams fell at home to Olney yesterday. Baseball lost 17-0 and softball fell 8-2. Both teams will travel to Benton today.
Other teams in action today are the CWC Girls Tennis team as they will host Mt.Vernon for their first home match of the season, and the CWC Lady Bulldog Volleyball team will travel to Gallatin County tonight.
Tomorrow night the Carmi-White County Bulldog football team will host Hamilton County to kick off week 2 of the IHSA football season. The Bulldogs are coming off a 52-16 win over Flora, meanwhile Hamilton County fell to Sesser-Valier last week 34-16.
At halftime of tomorrow’s game, CWCHS will honor the 20th Anniversary of the 2003 Bulldog Football team. The 2003 Bulldogs were the first team in school history to win an IHSA Playoff game, and one of only 2 teams in school history to reach the quarterfinals. Kickoff is set for 7 PM tomorrow night, fans can listen or watch the game on 97.3 FM WRUL and the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
