Coming up this Saturday is the annual 200 point showcase for the Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog Volleyball team. Everyone is welcome to attend to get a preview of this season’s squad. The Lady Bulldogs will then begin their season on Monday when they host Mt. Carmel. That match will be streamed on the WRUL Sports YouTube Channel.
The Carmi-White County Jr Pro football teams will begin their seasons this Saturday, when they travel to Vienna. The 5th and 6th grade game will begin at 3 PM with 7th and 8th grade to follow.
The Carmi-White County high school boys and girls golf teams will host Harrisburg this afternoon at the Carmi Country Club.
The Carmi-White County junior high baseball and softball teams will travel to McLeansboro to take on Hamilton County later on today.
Coming up this Friday night is the annual Fall Sports Preview at Carmi-White County High School. Fans who attend will get to meet all of the CWC fall sports teams and athletes. The night will be capped off by the annual Gator Bowl scrimmage from the CWC football team. Admission to the event is a bottle of Gatorade or any sports drink.
