At around 10 a.m. Tuesday Deputy Matt Wicker went to 510 5th Street in Carmi in reference to a wanted individual. 63 year old Karen Sue Miller was taken into custody and is being held in the White County Jail after being arrested on the White County Warrant for Financial Exploitation of the Elderly, a class 1 Felony and Forgery a class 3 Felony. Bond on the warrants has been set at $10,000.
Miller is scheduled to appear for a Preliminary Hearing on August 14 at 10 a.m.
