Claire Legg, 5th grade student from Washington Attendance Center in Carmi, was recently selected as a 1st place winner in the “One Water” poster contest in Springfield, after advancing as 1 of 2 White County Best posters. The local competition, sponsored by White County Soil and Water Conservation District, is held annually in January to February for all White County students. Her poster will now advance to the national contest hosted by the National Association of Conservation Districts (NACD). Claire’s artwork showcases her talent and creativity , while highlighting the vital connection between art and environmental conservation. White County SWCD wishes to congratulate Claire on her achievement and wishes her the best of luck at the Washington DC competition!! “One Water” connects us all.
