A Carmi man is in the White County Jail after being arrested during a traffic stop on Saturday. At around 10:30 am an officer with the Carmi Police Department stopped 61 year old Johnny Stephens on Oak Street. After running his information through dispatch it was discovered that he was wanted on a warrant out of Union County Kentucky.
Stephens was transported to the White County Jail where he is being held without bond.
