The White County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call on Sunday in regards to damage to a garage in Norris City. At approximately 11:11 a.m. Deputy Mitchell Malone went to East Second Street and spoke with home owner Mike Hite who reported finding a bullet hole in his garage. Hite told the Deputy he discovered the damage to the detached garage on Friday. Hite states he and a friend looked inside the garage and saw where the bullet went through a flag hanging on the wall, through a plastic storage tote and into the rear wall of the garage. When asked if he knew who may have caused the damage he said he did not.
The White County Sheriff is asking for anyone who has any information to please contact them or the Norris City Police Department.
