A Crossville man will be spending the next two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections followed by 6 months of Mandatory Supervised Release after being sentenced in White County Court on Monday. 23 Jeffery Rawlinson was arrested in May for Aggravated Fleeing or Attempting to Elude Police, a class 4 felony. Rawlinson was arrested by the White County Sheriff’s Department. Public Defender Myra Yelle-Clark represented the defendant, States Attorney Denton Aud prosecuted the case and Judge T Scott Webb was the presiding Judge.
46 year old Jerrod Farny of Dahlgren was sentenced to 2 years and 11 months in the IDOC with 4 years of Mandatory Supervised Release for Unlawful Violation of an Order of Protection, a class 4 felony. Farny’s case was originally investigated by the White County Sheriff’s Department. Farny had been placed on probation with said probation revoked in March of this year. Farny failed to appear for his sentencing hearing Monday afternoon with Judge T Scott Webb imposing this sentence in his absence. Farny was represented by Public Defender Myra Yelle-Clark while State’s Attorney Denton Aud prosecuted the case.
