A Carmi man is headed back to the Illinois Department of Corrections after being arrested on a parole violation. 38 year old Christopher Blazier of 10th Street was arrested just a little after 8 a.m. Tuesday during a traffic stop. A warrant was issued for Blazier’s arrest after an Order of Protection was filed against him by Kinzy Wiilliams of Carmi. Blazier was stopped on Cherry Street by an officer with the Carmi PD where he was taken into custody and booked in the White County Jail, where he remains.
