The Carmi-White County boys tennis team defeated Marion yesterday by a final score of 5-4. The Bulldogs end the regular season with an 18-3-1 record, breaking the record for the most wins in a single season in CWCHS history. Congratulations to head coach Chris Courty and the Bulldogs. They will begin sectionals next Friday in Centralia.
The CWC Girls Track team ran at the DuQuoin Sectional yesterday afternoon, and 5 Lady Bulldogs will be heading to state next week.
Ashlyn Rager qualified for state in Discus after finishing in 2nd Place with a throw of 99’4”.
The 4×8 Relay team consisting of Callie Accord, Gabbie Conover, Ally Pollard and Makyla Seibers also qualified for state finishing in 2nd Place with a time of 11:50.95.
Those Ladies will travel to Charleston for preliminaries beginning on Thursday.

The CWC boys track team finished in 2nd place at the Black Diamond Conference meet in Flora yesterday afternoon. The Bulldogs had numerous athletes claim conference championships, including:
Bryce Conner in the 400 Meter Race
Tanner Spence in the 1 Mile Race
Isaac King, Bryce Conner, Draxtyn Aud and Beck Huff in the 4×1 Relay
Isaac King, Draxtyn Aud, Beck Huff and Kale Wiggins in the 4×2 Relay
Issac King, Bryce Conner, Trey Dixon and Tanner Spence in the 4×4 Relay
and Nelson Rider in Discus.
