The Carmi PD received a complaint over the weekend in regards to Criminal Damage to Property. 22 year old Courtney Farley of Fackney Street told officers that sometime between April 25th and May 5th someone broke into her vehicle. She stated nothing had been taken from inside the vehicle but the passenger side handle had been damaged and the registration sticker was taken. She also reported that the vehicle had been keyed. Farley signed the complaint in regards to the damage and also for Theft under $500. The investigation is ongoing.
