The Carmi-White County Bulldog baseball team went 1-2 over the weekend, defeating Grayville 17-0, and then losing to DuQuoin 14-3 and 16-7. The Bulldogs currently stand at 10-14 on the year, they will travel to Hardin County tomorrow afternoon before wrapping up the regular season at Herrin on Wednesday.
The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog softball team will wrap up their regular season tomorrow afternoon when they host Johnston City at Archie Brown Field. The Lady Bulldogs are 14-8 on the year. Tomorrow’s game can be heard on 97.3 FM WRUL.
Both the CWC baseball and softball teams will begin regionals next week.
The CWC Boys track team will travel to Fairfield this afternoon, then they will travel to Flora for the Black Diamond Conference meet on Thursday.
The CWC Girls Track team will travel to DuQuoin on Wednesday for Sectionals.
The CWC Boys Tennis team will travel to Fairfield tomorrow, Mt. Vernon on Wednesday and Marion on Thursday.
