Three Arrested On White County Warrants

Warrants were the main issue for the White County Sheriff’s Departments over the last few days.

Monday morning at around 9:30, Sheriff Jordan Weiss served 38 year old Jason Laymance of Enfield an active White County Failure to Appear warrant while he was at the Sheriff’s office.  Laymance was taken to the White County Jail, and was released later that morning on a $500 Recognizance Bond.

Then about a half an hour later, Sheriff Weiss was notified by White County dispatch of Sheila Welch, 59, of New Haven, turning herself in on a White County FTA warrant.  She was taken to the White County Jail and later released on $595 bond.

And on Wednesday  just after 9 AM, Officer George Spencer and Sgt. Craig Poole met with 32 year old Charles Healy of Norris City at the White County Probation Office at 307 East Cherry Street.  Officers were made aware that Healy was inside the Probation Office and that there was an active White County arrest warrant for Healy.  He was taken to the White County Jail, charged with Failure to Appear for Domestic Battery (Strong Arm of a Family Member).  Healy is being held pending posting of the $500 cash bond, $75 Failure to Appear fee plus a $20 booking fee.
