A Deputy with the White County Sheriff’s Department arrested a Grayville man on a White County Warrant Friday. At around 2:20 PM Deputy Michael Brown was on patrol when he saw Joseph Wampler, 37, walking on First Street in Crossville and knew of him to be wanted on a warrant for Failure to Appear. Brown made contact with Wampler and advised him of the warrant. Wampler was scheduled to appear in White County Court in November of 2022 on a charge of Obstruction of Justice but was a no show. He was taken into custody and booked in the White County Jail where bond was set at $200 plus a $75 Failure to Appear fee. Wampler paid bond and was released.
He is scheduled to appear in White County Court at 9:00 AM on May 23rd.
