The Carmi-White County Lady Bulldog softball team defeated Flora yesterday afternoon by a final score of 6-2.
Carmi has now won 5 straight games as they improve their record to 7-4 on the year and 3-0 in the BDC East.
The Lady Bulldogs will wrap up the season series with the Wolfgats at Flora on Thursday.
The Bulldog baseball team has had a rough start to a long week, losing to Mt. Vernon on Monday and then falling to Flora on Tuesday by a final score of 9-1.
The Bulldogs will play their 3rd game in 3 days on Wednesday as they travel to Johnston City, the Dogs will then travel to Flora on Thursday before traveling to Benton on Saturday for a doubleheader.
The CWC Boys Tennis Team defeated Mt. Carmel yesterday afternoon by a final score of 7-2 to improve to 7-0 on the season. The Bulldogs will travel to Mt. Vernon, Illinois on Thursday.
The CWC Boys Track team began their season on Tuesday at DuQuoin and the Bulldogs finished in 4th place, they will travel to Flora on Thursday.
The CWC Junior High track teams traveled to Flora on Tuesday and competed against Flora, St. Joe and Olney. The boys finished in 1st Place while the girls finished in 4th place.
