Fairfield Memorial Hospital Acquires New Lower Dose CT Imaging System

Fairfield Memorial Hospital has added FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas Corporation’s SCENARIA View low dose computed tomography (CT) imaging system to its list of diagnostic offerings. The system includes the latest technology in radiation dose reduction features with an accommodating design that reassures patients, as well as a broad range of clinical capabilities and features to meet the demand of today’s diagnostic imaging professionals.

The SCENARIA View is a 128-slice CT scanner, combining enhanced patient safety through advanced technology dose reduction with broad clinical capabilities and enhanced patient comfort features for a wide range of available applications including coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA), interventional CT and extended coverage shuttle scanning for perfusion exams.

“When healthcare professionals are trying to diagnose medical conditions, imaging can provide a more accurate picture of what is going on inside the patient’s body. The detailed images from these scans show doctors where damage or abnormalities are, making it critical that they are using the best equipment. We are looking forward to introducing this state-of-the-art technology to our providers and our community.” said FMH CEO Katherine Bunting-Williams.

Fairfield Memorial Hospital is acquiring the new View CT system to offer physicians and the community access to the new and advanced diagnostic imaging techniques.
