The City of Grayville will hold the first of their two monthly meetings on Monday, April 10th at City Hall, with there being a Public Hearing on the budget before the regular meeting, at 6:45 PM.
There isn’t an Executive Session on the agenda, but in old business is the water filtration plant, a request to vacate an alley in Martin’s Addition, the swimming pool, approval of the 2023-24 budget, first reading of ordinances authorizing the sale of real estate (empty lots) and authorizing the sale of property in I-64 Plaza, approving a TIF #1 agreement with Horizon Hospitality LLC, concession stand proposals, a generator maintenance contract, and sale of excess equipment by sealed bid.
In new business is approving the 2023 Motor Fuel Tax Program, a request to vacate the alley in Martin’s Addition for 309 Homes LLC, a TIF #2 request for 309 Homes LLC, and request for a donation from the Motel Tax Fund for Groff Memorial Library.
To be approved is the Consent Agenda, there will be a Treasurer’s Report, purchase order approvals, recognition of visitors, as well as reports from the Engineer, Police Chief/Utility Manager, City Attorney, Commissioners, and the Mayor.
Grayville City Council meets on the second and fourth Mondays of each month.
