Carmi White County School Board Approves Tenure And Re-Employment Of Staff

In the Closed Session of the Carmi-White County School Board Monday night:

The board approved the closed session minutes of the February 21st board meeting.

Kelsey Hall will be employed as a Special Education Teacher at Brownsville School for the 2023-24 school year to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Rhet Vaughan; Bailey Cincotta will be employed as the Spanish Teacher at Carmi-White County High School for the 2023-24 school year to replace Margheria DiMaggio; the board rescinded the letter of retirement of District School Nurse June Sykes effective at the end of this school year.

MaKenze Atteberry, April Benham, Sabrina Cox, Jessica Flannigan, Kim Hindman, Robin Mick, Tara Miller, Julie Moore, Whitney Pearce and Kaylea Stubblefield will be placed on tenure at the beginning of the 2023-2024 school year; first year certified staff members Jessica Bailey, Nicole Bonan, Jamie Burzynski, Lynn Culley-Sims, Jessica Fishback, Cassandra Hutchcraft, Karen Kays, Leslie Kessler, John Lamp, Cammie Pollard, Grace Sinclair, Marc Stendeback and Drew Vaupel will all be re-employed for the next school year; second year certified staff members Jennifer Barbre, Carson Cushman, and Kelsey Slay will be re-employed, for the next school year; third year certified staff members Tricia Myers, Tracy Orr, Carlin Smock, Crystal Stallings and Jessica Williams will be re-employed for the 2023-24 school year;  and administrators Amy Atteberry, Todd Haley, Bart King, Lacey Moore and Kathy Price will be re-employed as well for the 2023-24 school year.  Board members Ackerman, Mitchell, and Westfall abstained in that voting.Carmi White County School Board
